Together we do
MORE for McLean

The McLean Community Foundation (MCF) gave its first grant in 1981 to the McLean Volunteer Fire Department. Four decades later, we have given more than $2,000,000 in grants to non-profits in McLean and those that serve McLean Residents. As an all volunteer organization, every dollar that we raise funds the Mclean community.

The MCF is a 501(c)(3) organization operating exclusively for charitable and educational purposes for the benefit of the residents of the McLean Planning District. These purposes are achieved by providing financial support for local non-profits through MCF’s grant-making process. MCF Trustees secure funding for MCF grants through annual fund-raising activities and the management of MCF’s endowment.
As a 501(c)(3), contributions to the MCF are fully tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. Click here to view our MCF Tax Returns.

MCF Trustees recently attended the ribbon cutting for the new Mclean Project for the Arts Berlage Arts & Education Center. The MCF provided grant funding in support of the Kiln Room, which is an integral part of the new Center.
